Special Guest Satan was formed By Russell Smith and Nathan Gunn in 2011. The first year was spent writing and trying to bring back the old school Death Metal sound. Several other guitarist and a few drummers tried out but nobody else the vision for the sound and the brutality of what would become Special Guest Satan. Jordan Dixon a former band mate joined the band about a year into the project as the drummer. Due to an injury he had to stop playing drums and became the second guitarist but started programming drums for the band. Kenneth Lidey a friend of Jordan and Russell was the next to join the project as the vocalist. Shortly after Nathan left the band for personal reasons. After Nathan's departure Jordan switched from guitar to bass. Roman Grant was the next to join the band as the second guitarist to complete the current line up. Special Guest Satan plays in most major Texas cities and everywhere in between. If you are a Death Metal fan in Texas you do not want to miss this band, Special Guest Satan!!!
